Holiday Flags

If you are looking for a way to celebrate your favorite holiday there's a good chance you can find a holiday flag. There are various flags produced for all 13 American legal holidays such a Christmas flag, New Years flag, Memorial Day flag, the Fourth of July flag and Thanksgiving flag. There are traditional holiday flags such as St. Patrick's Day flags, Easter flags, Halloween flags, Hanukkah flags, Valentines Day flags, Mother's Day flags, Father's Day flags and Mardis Gras flags. There are holiday flags for holidays all over the world from Kwanzaa to St. David's Day. Holiday flags have been around for centuries.

Many flag companies are making various colorful indoor and outdoor washable flags, mini flags, antenna flags, flag pins and flag banners to suit the theme of the holiday. Getting all of these may be called flagtopia. A Christmas flag, for example could be religious in nature or could just be just seasonal. A seasonal flag could feature Santa Claus, reindeer, holly and candy canes, or wreaths and snowmen; whereas a religious oriented flag may show a nativity scene. Many holiday flags are more or less very commercial.

At Easter people fly bunny flags and colored egg flags and, while the message symbolizes a religious belief, it's really more of a novelty than anything else. Most of these flags have no history or meaning behind them, but are a good way for people to celebrate and show their beliefs publicly. Holiday flags are especially enjoyed by children who enjoy getting into the spirit of the holiday occasion.
