Flag Cases
Memorial flag cases are also available and these are usually made of different types of wood such as oak, walnut or mahogany and come with a glass or clear front so you can see the flag. It often comes with engraved metal or brass plates on it.
Cases are made to fit various sized flags and they are commonly used for holding burial flags for the armed forces, police and fire departments etc. You can buy ready made flag cases or have one custom made. The inside of the case can come in different colors and is usually nicely decorated with velour or a similar type material.
The cases can be hung on a wall or set to stand on a table. Flag cases are ideal for current or retired military or other uniformed service people and can also be used to display medals and other items of memorabilia such as medallions, coins photos, pins, citations, badges etc. They also make for good gifts or for use at flag retiring ceremonies. Flag cases are a great way to display, preserve and protect cherished memories.
